Saving Movie Madness Video Store
Business: Hollywood Theatre
When Portland's Hollywood Theatre launched a Kickstarter campaign to save the beloved video store Movie Madness, I was brought on to refresh the brand's logo and design the campaign's reward merchandise, spanning apparel, enamel pins, pennants, glassware, and packaging. Drawing on the visual language of cult classic film and physical media, the work maintained the store's iconic character while giving it a cohesive visual identity. I worked closely with program directors and project managers on the campaign, which reached its $250,000 goal in just nine days, ultimately raising $313,346 and securing the store and its irreplaceable film archive for the city.
